I dolci di Pisa

As you can see I made more sweet than salted discoveries! Indeed, in terms of restaurant, I didn’t have a chance to find a place that was sufficiently delicious for me to recommend it to you. I kind of decided last minute to go to Pisa so I didn’t have time to check out places at this level. If you have some good addresses feel free to share!

That said, I was really won over by these “frittelles” doughnut that I discovered a bit by coincidence to satisfy a craving. At first I bought 2 only to try them out and the baker saw me coming back to get 6 more, just 2 minutes later. I even wanted to bring a kilo or two (I don’t do things half way, I know) back to France but it was closed on Sunday: crestfallen face in front of the bakery! So since last weekend I’ve only been thinking about one thing… frittelles, frittelles, frittelles…( English translation by LN)

LA BOTTEGA DEL GELATO
11 Piazza Garibaldi, PISA

PANIFICIO BOLOGNESE Bakery (for the frittelles!)
18 Via Rigattieri, PISA
